Important set of heraldic and sigillographic archives comprising 61 plates of wax impressions of coats of arms, seals or royal, religious or civil seals from the 15th to the early 19th century. According to tradition, the collection was built up in the 18th and early 19th centuries by Louis Alexandre, Marquis de Lur Saluces (1774-1842), and then added to by one of his descendants (from the Brivazac family) between the second half of the 19th century and the 1st half of the 20th century. The collection was broken up in the mid-twentieth century. Provenance: Brivazac family
