JULES BRATEAU (1844-1923) Louis XV Pewter plate with molded mouvement contour. The wing is decorated with a frieze of women and children playing, after Clodion. In the center, a medallion representing the figure of Louis XV. Model created in 1885. Diameter: 25 cm Cartouche mark, gibbet counter-mark. This plate can be used as a display stand for the Les Fleuves de France bowl. Excellent condition. Ref. Boucaud, J-C, Jules Brateau, p.104
