JULES BRATEAU (1844-1923) Vine and mask Tapered pewter beaker, slightly concave. The body is richly decorated with vine branches and various wine-tasting vessels. The base features four grotesque and satyr masks. In the upper part, the inscription: VINO MISCET AQUAM IAM SATIS IPSE DEVS Model created in 1892 Height: 12.5cm Cartouche mark, gibbet counter-mark Oxydations, small deformations at the top of the goblet Ref.
