Autograph letter signed "Picasso", Paris June 8, 1914, to Guillaume APOLLINAIRE "(Artiste peintre)", 202 B d Saint Germain, Paris; 1 page in-4 (27 x 2 cm) headed Hotel de la Plage Perpignan, envelope headed Hotel Bazerbe et du Commerce, A. Duédra, Céret, with stamp, and red wax seal with PP numeral on back. "My dear Guillaume You are indeed a little piggy. But tomorrow we're having dinner in Paris with some Californian ladies. We had cooked for you a leg of lamb with garlic and butter beans, Auvergne soup, asparagus, bacon salad, peas and the famous tarte de la maison. I have to tell you that after tomorrow we'll be having lunch out in the world. [ ] I'm thinking of leaving soon for the colonies. Unpublished letter.
