Piotr Petrovitch WEINER (1879-1931) L.A.S. addressed to Denis ROCHE (1868-1951), dated June 11, 1917 in Petrograd, in which he thanks him for his congratulations on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the Starye Gody newspaper. He was worried about the future of the paper, given the instability and high prices brought about by the revolution. Printing plants are closing. We're going through the hardest times, and I wouldn't give a penny for my tomorrow (...) I'm happy to say that, despite all the events, we haven't lost too many sensitive works of art to date, but as we're sure to have many more crises to go through, we're far from at peace.
