SEVRES. Hard porcelain covered sugar pot of poly-lobed form, with rare brown background sandblasted with gold and decorated with silver flowers in relief, gold serrated fillet on the edges. Gold mark LL interlaced crowned, letters date AA for 1778, gilder Louis-François LECOT. Second half of 18th century Height: 9.5 cm - Diameter: 7.5 cm According to the painters' enfournement register kept in the archives of the Sèvres factory VL'1, folio 13 "Enfournement du 20 juin 1778", "cinq gobelets, une theyere, un pot à sucre relief fond brun, fleur d'argent", gilder Lecot.
