Subject : 51 x 32 cm Sheet: 57 x 38 cm Stains and rubbing. Passe-partout. A tapestry by Alfred Manessier entitled Les Litanies was woven in haute-lice, at the Manufacture des Gobelins (Paris), in four copies from 1954-1964. Its large execution board was made in 1953 from the eponymous lithograph dating from 1952.
