Small tear at the bottom of the central fold. One of the most decorative maps of Russia, based on the work of Fedor Borisovich. Visscher's version of the rare map of Russia by Hessel Gerritsz. In cardboard: -130 x 170mm-a map of the city of Moscow, in another cardboard -170 x 115mm- panoramic views of the cities of Narva, Arkhangelsk and the Kremlin with two more small views. In a large title cartouche, with a dedication to N. J. Piscator and bearing the date 1651, five men are depicted in native costume, one of whom bears a coat of arms depicting the two-headed imperial eagle.
