Silvère JARROSSON (1993) Structure, second tempo, 2020 Acryl - Lot 230
Silvère JARROSSON (1993) Structure, second tempo, 2020 Acrylic on linen canvas 61 x 46 cm Embodying a third generation of artists in lyrical abstraction in France, Silvère Jarrosson was a dancer at the Paris Opera. The artist develops an aesthetic and a pictorial reflection based on movement, which leads him to pour acrylic on his canvases, in a complex and partially unpredictable choreography. By collaborating with the Museum of Natural History in Paris, he widens the scope of his work to include a biological approach, evocative of the living world. After numerous exhibitions in Paris, New York, Hong-Kong and Berlin, he is laureate of the Claude Monet Foundation in 2018, then works with institutions such as the Lambert Collection or the Academy of Fine Arts in Riga. In June 2019, he will produce a Tribute to Antonin Artaud for the Villa Medici.
