Attributed to Chaumet Delightful necklace composed of : A pendant in 18K white gold 750 thousandths, former jabot brooch transformed, adorned with a diamond old European cut of about 4.1 carats in pearl setting, crowned with a slender geometric pattern punctuated by two lines of eight onyx faceted diamond (missing one) in pearl rail setting and six diamonds of old size ranging from 0.01 to 0.07 carat in grain setting. Work of the Art Deco period. (Trace of soldering) Diamond dimensions: 10.32 x 10.34 x 6.15 mm Estimated characteristics: J/K - SI1 - no fluorescence Dimensions of the pendant: 37 x 11 mm A chain in white gold 18K 750 thousandths to mesh "spiro tube" (according to the nomenclature of Jacques Lenfant in "the book of the chain" to the editions Scriptar) Length: 39 cm A clasp in platinum 800 thousandths of rectangular form decorated with a diamond of diamond size of approximately 0.15 carat in closed setting, in an entourage of four diamonds of fancy size in closed setting for approximately 0.60 carat in total. By family tradition, all the family jewels were bought at Chaumet by the grandfather of the current owner. This necklace, resulting from the transformation of a ruffle pin and a clasp probably that of a pearl necklace, is accompanied by a case of the House Chaumet.
